Tuesdays from 3:30-4:30
For beginners: This program is designed for kids who are new to architecture and design. In Architecture 1, students will explore the fundamentals of architecture,including Architectural Concepts:
- Understanding the basic principles of architecture, such as form, function, and structure.
- Blueprints, Sections, and Elevations : Learning how architects plan and visualize buildings.
- Sketching & Model Making :Hands-on activities to help visualize and create simple structures.
- Exploring Famous Buildings :Learning from iconic architects and historical structures.
- Geometry in Architecture : Understanding shapes, patterns, and spatial relationships.
Fridays 2:15-3:15
For students who have completed Architecture 1 or have prior knowledge of architecture: In Architecture 2, students will take their design skills further with a more in-depth exploration of architecture, including:
- Intermediate Building Design: Expanding on concepts learned in Architecture 1 and refining design ideas.
- Materials & Construction Methods: Learning how different materials affect the structure and aesthetics of buildings.
- Color Theory & Schemes : Understanding how colors influence architectural spaces.
- Sustainable & Eco-Friendly Design :Exploring green architecture principles and innovative solutions.
- Hands-on Project Work :Creating a more detailed building model, applying new techniques and design strategies.
